Description of Work:
- Derive business processes, analyze user needs, assist in requirements definition, design browser-based interfaces, and design and conduct usability testing.
- Elicit business goals and user needs from stakeholders.
- Create Personas and Scenarios of Use.
- Create and refine screen prototypes.
- Communicate well in both writing and verbally
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical topics as well as interface with the customer on a daily basis
- Assist with coordination of project task and activities
- Become knowledgeable on the HIPAA policies and procedures for the program and ensure awareness of HIPAA breach process. Understand your role in HIPAA compliance and be able to execute that role in an effective manner.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and 14 years of relevant work experience or Master's Degree and 12 years relevant work experience or 18 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Must have 10 years direct Interaction/Interface design experience in User-Centered Methods and User Analysis.
- 7 years' experience documenting user requirements, screen designs, and design recommendations.
- 7 years' experience in designing and conducting formative usability tests in both formal and informal settings.
- 7 years' experience preparing and presenting findings and recommendations in small and large group settings.
- Must have a strong understanding of responsive design.
- MS Office proficiency
- Must be able to obtain a Position of Trust designation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using Axure RP prototyping software.
- Experience using Agile methods.
- Prior experience supporting government agencies.
- Understanding of Section 508 and its requirements regarding design
